Troy Drops First Home Match 4-1 to UNF

TROY, Alabama – The first home match of the season for Troy men's tennis did not go as hoped as the Trojans fell 4-1 to UNF on Monday.

The Trojans (2-6) picked up a singles wins and a doubles win, but that would not be enough as two ranked players for UNF (4-4) helped to bring down Troy.

Hassan Ndayishimiye was the singles victor as he defeated No. 62 Jefta Kecic 6-2, 6-2. Pablo Moreno and Mustapha Belcora won their doubles match 6-2.

NOTEWORTHY
• Pablo Moreno and Amer Bedwan both were unable to finish their singles matches.

• Jack Findel-Hawkins is the No. 74 ranked singles player while Kecic is ranked No. 62.
