Women’s Tennis Falls to North Florida

JACKSONVILLE, Florida – The Troy women's tennis team completes this weekend's set of matches in Jacksonville, Fla., as the fell to North Florida 6-1. The Trojans are now 1-7 on the season and are coming off their first win against Bethune-Cookman.

Sanae Ohta and Nancy Karaky won their doubles match 6-3, but UNF grabbed the doubles point early in the match after winning matches on courts one and three.

In singles competition, Efriliya Herlina defeated her opponent in a hard fought three sets 7-5, 4-6, 9-7. She earned the lone point for the Trojans against the Ospreys.

UP NEXT
Troy will travel to Birmingham to take on UAB on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. before returning home to hosts their first matches of the season against New Orleans and USC Upstate.
