Troy Invades NOLA for Tulane Classic

TROY, Alabama – Troy is set to take part in the 22nd Tulane Classic on Thursday and Friday as the team opens with a 2:30 p.m. matchup with the host Green Wave. Troy will face either Samford or UTEP on Friday.
Troy (5-4) is coming off consecutive road losses to Middle Tennessee and Samford, the latter in which the Trojans saw a 21-point lead evaporate as Samford shot 12-of-16 from the field and 5-for-6 from 3-point range over the final 10 minutes.
Amber Rivers has been solid for Troy averaging 11.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game over the last three contests. Rivers scored a team-high 15 points on Sunday against the Bulldogs.
