New Orleans Bowl Rewind: Day Two

NEW ORLEANS- The Troy football team had another full day of bowl game preparations on Wednesday. The team began its first full day in the Big Easy serving local communities in New Orleans before holding the first team practice in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The team finished the day with a trip to see the New Orleans Pelicans.

After a few morning meetings, the Trojans split up and visited the local hospital, elementary schools, and senior center and gave back to those in the local community.

Following community service, the Trojans made the much-anticipated trip to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome for a team picture and the first practice in the infamous venue. To cap off the busy day, Troy made the short trip across the street to watch the New Orleans Pelicans defeat the Milwaukee Bucks.

Troy will continue to prepare for the 2017 New Orleans Bowl with a lighter day on Thursday, featuring a morning practice followed by some time off to relax and get to see more of New Orleans.
