Troy Sold Out of New Orleans Bowl Club Seats; Reserved & Community Hero Tickets Remain

TROY, Alabama – Troy has sold out of its allotment of club seats for the New Orleans Bowl on Saturday; however, the Troy Ticket Office still has reserved seats and Community Hero Tickets available for fans to purchase.

"We knew that our fans were excited about a New Orleans Bowl trip and the ticket sales through the first week back that up," Troy Director of Athletics Jeremy McClain said. "It is important for our fans to know that our ticket office still has great seats available, and they can still purchase tickets to help the local community heroes in New Orleans."

Troy fans can purchase $40 reserved seats and $20 Community Hero Tickets through the Troy Ticket Office by visiting TroyTrojans.com/tickets, by calling 334-670-3681 or in person at Trojan Arena (through Tuesday). Fans will also be able to purchase tickets at the New Orleans Marriott (555 Canal Street) Wednesday through Friday, visit TroyTrojans.com/bowl for the complete schedule.

The Trojans are set to arrive in New Orleans on Tuesday with the first practice in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome set for Wednesday.

5 - 10 p.m. | Fulton Street Square: Pep Rally & Fan Meet Up
Iconic sports bar and restaurant Manning's New Orleans located on Fulton Street in the heart of the New Orleans commercial district will serve as the official Troy Fan Headquarters for Troy's trip to the New Orleans Bowl.

The highlight of the pregame festivities at Manning's takes place Friday, Dec., 15, beginning at 5 p.m. as the entire courtyard will be reserved for Trojan Nation. Manning's will offer food and drink specials throughout the evening, including an exclusive Trojan Punch.

A special New Orleans Bowl edition of Trojan Talk with "Voice of the Trojans" Barry McKnight along with special guests from the University, Athletics Department and football program will air live from 6-7 p.m. in the Manning's courtyard.

A unique event immediately follows Trojan Talk at 7 p.m. as Troy will host a pep rally featuring a special commencement ceremony. Chancellor Hawkins will award degrees to the Troy football players and members of the Sound of the South who were not able to take part in Troy's fall commencement ceremony that morning in Trojan Arena. Troy fans will not want to miss an opportunity to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime moment for the graduating students and their families.

Troy fans will also be treated to an annual tradition as Holiday Season at Miracle on Fulton Street returns for another year. The festive event features daily "snow" every hour from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., twinkling lights, a giant tree and a magical gingerbread display in the Harrah's Hotel lobby. Santa Claus makes an appearance from 6-9 p.m. for photos ($20 cash only) and there will be live music from 5:30-9:30 p.m.

Join fellow Trojans as we get ready for kickoff at the New Orleans Bowl. Admission to the tailgate party is free for card-carrying Alumni Association members and Trojan Warrior Fund members and $20 for all others; a game ticket is required for entry by all. Light food and drinks will be served and a cash bar will be available. Enter through Gate F.
