Troy Volleyball Earns Berth in Sun Belt Tournament

TROY, Alabama- After an exciting five-set win over Appalachian State on Friday night, the Trojans have advanced to the Sun Belt Tournament for the first time in two seasons and in head coach Josh Lauer's first season at the helm.

Troy tied Georgia State for fourth place in the Sun Belt East Division, picking up key wins against Georgia State, Little Rock and Appalachian State.

This season, sophomore Belle Waldrop paced the way with 270 kills, while middle hitter Logan Page finished the season with a .302 hitting percentage ranking seventh in the conference.

The Trojans earned the eight-seed and will face the five-seed South Alabama on Thursday in Jonesboro, Ark., at 7:30 p.m.
