Women’s Golf Wraps Play at Magnolia Invitational

Final Results
WEST POINT, Mississippi – The Troy women's golf finished in 10th place at the Magnolia Invitational which concluded with 18 holes on Tuesday at the West Point Golf Course.
The Trojans shot 17-over in the final round led by a 2-over 74 from Lindsey Harrison and Eva Fabricius-Bjerre's 4-over 76. Fabricius-Bjerre and Sarah Harrison tied for 41st overall at 13-over for the tournament to lead the Trojans, while Lindsey Harrison and Antonia Poate tied for 52nd and Bianca Lohbauer finished 59th.
No. 60 Ole Miss ran away with the team title as the Rebels bested No. 74 Memphis by seven shots, while No. 30 Tennessee, No. 47 Auburn and No. 59 Mississippi State rounded out the top five. The 10-team field all finished ranked in the top 90 last season.
Lindsey Harrison carded three birdies on the day for her best round of the tournament. Fabricius-Bjerre added a pair of birdies in her round, while Poate picked up four birdies on the day – all three made climbs up the leaderboard during the final round of play.
Ole Miss' Julia Johnson claimed individual medalist honors by winning in a playoff over Memphis' Abby Herrmann after the pair shot 7-under.

Troy will take a few weeks off before returning to a familiar site in Kiawah Island, S.C., for the Palmetto Intercollegiate hosted by College of Charleston on Oct. 23-24.
