Troy Football Donates Women’s 101 Clinic Proceeds to Christian Love Center

TROY, Alabama – Troy football head coach Neal Brown had 20 special visitors Friday morning before the Trojans boarded buses for their game at Georgia State on Saturday. Children and sponsors from the Christian Love Center in Troy visited The Vet and spent time with Brown.
Brown and his wife Brooke hosted the annual Troy Football Women's 101 Clinic during the summer with the proceeds earmarked for the Christian Love Center. Troy football and the Troy Regional Medical Center presented the Christian Love Center with those funds on Friday.
"The women's clinic is a great opportunity for us to give back to the community," Brown said. "It is a fun evening for the women of Troy to experience Trojan football, while at the same time provides an avenue to serve those around us. The Christian Love Center is a valuable part of this community and its youth. You could tell on the faces of the kids here this morning the impact that the center and its leaders are having on their lives."
The kids got a first-hand look at Troy's football operations building and the new team meeting room in addition to trying on a few of Troy's game helmets before the surprise visit from Brown.
