Kickoff Time Set for Troy at Southern Miss

TROY, Alabama – Troy's non-conference football game at Southern Miss on Sept. 17 has been scheduled for a 6 p.m. kickoff and the game will be broadcast live on beIN Sports USA, Conference USA announced Wednesday morning.
Troy's visit to Roberts Stadium marks the first meeting between the two schools since the overtime thriller in the 2008 New Orleans Bowl. It will be the first on-campus game between the two schools since 1940 and is the first of a home-and-home series as Southern Miss visits Troy in 2019.
The Trojans return seven starters on both sides of the ball in addition to welcoming one of the top recruiting classes in program history. Brown's first full recruiting class was rated as the second best in the Sun Belt Conference by both 247Sports and Scout.
Troy opens the 2016 season on Sept. 3 when it plays host to Austin Peay in the first of six home games in Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by contacting the Troy Ticket Office online at TroyTrojans.com, by phone at 877-878-WINS or in person at the Tine Davis Fieldhouse.
