T-Day on Tap for Saturday with Chance for Fans to Call a Play; Live Audio Also Available

TROY, Alabama – The Troy football team wraps its second spring practice under head coach Neal Brown on Saturday with Troy's annual T-Day Spring Game presented by Southeast Alabama Medical Center. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. in Veterans Memorial Stadium and admission is free.

"Voice of the Trojans" Barry McKnight along with Chris Blackshear will broadcast the T-Day Spring Game live on TroyTrojans.com. Fans in the stadium will be able to listen along for free on their smartphones via TroyTrojans.com.

The day's festivities begin with a special T-Day Trojan Walk at 11:45 a.m. as the Troy players and coaches will make their traditional march through Tailgate Terrace to the stadium.

During the game, two lucky fans will be selected from the crowd to come down to the sideline call an offensive and defensive play. The outcome of the play will determine which fan will walk away with a special prize pack.

Additionally, Troy University Sports Hall of Fame inductee Ralph Black will serve as the public address announcer for the game, while Tyler Parker will roam the stands of Veterans Memorial Stadium loaded down with a wireless microphone and prizes. Parker will also have in-game interviews with Troy coaches, including a visit with Brown on the sidelines.

The Sound of the South, Troy cheerleaders and T-Roy will all be on hand and full concessions will be available. Gates to Veterans Memorial Stadium will open at 11:30 a.m.
