Lohbauer Leads Troy at Lady Bulldog Individual Tournament

ATHENS, Georgia – Freshman Bianca Lohbauer tied for 11th place at the Lady Bulldog Individual Tournament to lead a group of four Troy individuals at the University of Georgia Golf Course on Saturday.
The individual tournament marked the beginning of the spring schedule for the two-time defending Sun Belt Conference champions. Lohbauer shot an 8-over 80 in the opening round before bouncing back with a 5-over 77 in the afternoon session. The course played difficult during the final 18 holes, as Lohbauer's 77 was the fifth-best round in the field.
Becca Horner rebounded from a tough opening round (88) with a 5-over 77 in the second round, which tied her for 25th place overall. Bria Jansen shot rounds of 89 and 85 to finish in 38th place, while Kalyn Hudson carded rounds of 92 and 86 to finish in a tie for 40th place.
The Trojans will be right back in action next weekend as the first team-event of the spring takes place in Tallahassee, Fla., at the FSU Matchup. The three-day event opens on Friday, Feb. 12 with 18 holes.
