Troy Dollar General Bowl Rewind - Day Three

MOBILE, Alabama – The Trojans continued their Dollar General Bowl preparations in Mobile on Wednesday with a lighter schedule.

The day got off to an early start as the team headed to Saraland High School for position meetings, weight-lifting and a light 90-minute morning practice.
Â
Following the practice, Troy loaded up the buses for a short drive to the historic USS Alabama Battleship. The Dollar General Bowl provided lunch for the team and local former NFL star Robert Brazile Jr., addressed the players. Players, coaches and staff then got time to explore the Memorial Battleship Park.

After lunch, the Trojans then made a quick trip to Ladd-Peebles Stadium for team pictures, before getting the rest of the afternoon to relax.

Thursday's schedule will include a morning practice, lunch at the Mobile Convention Center, team meetings, and a traditional Mardi Gras parade outside of the hotel.

The Dollar General Bowl is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday in Ladd-Peebles Stadium and the game will be broadcast live on ESPN.
