Troy Volleyball Hits the Road for UL Lafayette and ULM

TROY, Alabama - The Troy volleyball team travels to Louisiana for a pair of weekend matchups. The Trojans face UL Lafayette on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and will battle ULM on Sunday at noon.

Troy (8-21, 2-10 Sun Belt) won its last two out of three matches. The two wins came against South Alabama and Appalachian State. It's lone loss last week came against Sun Belt East Division leader, Coastal Carolina.

NOTEWORTHY
•  Sara Landis picked up five kills in the match against Coastal Carolina, but only needed three to achieve a milestone. Landis reached 500 career kills as a Trojan, and looks to improve that number this weekend.

• As a team, Troy ranks fifth in the Sun Belt in blocks per set. The Trojans are averaging just less than 2.00 blocks per set. Troy has 210.0 total blocks this season, which is fourth most in the Sun Belt.

THE COMPETITION
• UL Lafayette (8-18, 4-7 Sun Belt) has only one win in its previous six matches. The win came to Appalachian State in four sets. Stacey Reilly leads the Ragin' Cajuns with 338 kills this season.

• ULM (8-21, 2-9 Sun Belt) has lost eight straight and has only won five sets in that stretch. It's last win came on the road at Louisiana Tech on October 4th. The Warhawks are averaging 14.44 digs per set in conference play, which is good for seventh-best in the conference.
