Men's Tennis Enters Third Week of Fall Play

AUBURN, Alabama – After two straight successful weekends to start the season, the Troy men's tennis team will compete in its first ITA event with the ITA/USTA Regional competition in Auburn, Ala. from Friday through Monday.
NOTEWORTHY
• The Trojans are coming off a weekend at the Mercer Gridiron Invitational where three players advanced to semi-finals play.
• Troy will compete in a 128-player draw on the singles side and one 64-draw on the doubles end.
• Play will begin Friday at 8 a.m.
THE COMPETITION
• Auburn, Alabama, Jacksonville State, Louisiana-Lafayette, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Nicholls State, Samford, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Troy, Tulane and UAB will be in action.
• The singles and doubles champions advance to the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y., in November.
• Bracket information and match times can be found at www.AuburnTigers.com. Matches on the main six courts will be livestreamed online.
