Troy Fall Fan Day Successful

TROY, Alabama – A record-setting amount of fans piled in Trojan Arena on Saturday afternoon for autographs from the Trojan football, soccer, volleyball and cross country teams.

Troy football opens its season on Saturday, September 5 on the road at North Carolina State at 5 p.m., but will host Charleston Southern for the home opener on September 12 at 6 p.m.

The Troy soccer team will play Alabama on Sunday in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on SEC Network + at 7 p.m. The Trojans shutout Gardner-Webb, 2-0, in front of a record-breaking attendance in Friday night's home opener.

The volleyball team opens its season on Friday, August 28 at 2 p.m. against Eastern Kentucky as part of the Chattanooga Classic in Chattanooga, Tenn.

The cross country team will travel to Oxford, Ala., to compete in the JSU Struts Season Opener on September 4.
