Cano & Conrad Lead Women’s Golf at 3M Jaguar Intercollegiate

AUGUSTA, Georgia – Fátima Fernández Cano and Sydney Conrad fired 2-over 73s to lead the Troy women's golf team on the final day of the 3M Jaguar Intercollegiate at the Forest Hills Golf Club on Sunday.
The Trojans finished the tournament in fifth place and ahead of four teams that were ranked ahead of them in the latest Golfstat rankings.
Cano paced the Trojans for the weekend as she tied for fifth place overall following a school record 65 in Saturday's second round. Cano ended the weekend shooting 1-over par thanks to four birdies on her card Sunday.
Conrad continued her impressive spring as she was 2-under on the back nine today and 7-over for the tournament, which was good for a 12th place finish. Becca Horner turned in her second top 25 finish of the year as she tied for 23rd place following a 4-over card in the final round.
Taylor McGraw finished her weekend in 34th place after shooting an 8-over 79 on Sunday, while Langley Vannoy carded a 6-over 77 in the final round and tied for 46th place.
No. 43 Coastal Carolina won the team title by six strokes over Kennesaw State, while Furman, GRU Augusta and Troy rounded out the top five.
The Trojans travel to Atlanta, Ga., March 29-31 for the John Kirk Lady Panther Classic in what will be the final tune up before the Sun Belt Conference Championships.
