Troy Women Improve on Day Two of FSU Match-Up

TALLAHASSEE, Florida – The Troy women's golf team fired a 311 in Saturday's second round of the FSU Match-Up at the Southwood Golf Club. Senior Langley Vannoy led the Trojans with a 4-over 76, while Fátima Fernández Cano finished the day with a 77.
The Trojans are in 11th place in a field that includes six top-40 teams and 10 that are ranked in the top 70.
Vannoy shot matching 38s on the front and back nine, which included birdies on No. 13 and No. 15. Cano, who is tied with Taylor McGraw for 33rd place, carded a birdie on No. 16. McGraw made the turn at even par thanks to back-to-back birdies on No. 4 and No. 5; she went on to finish the round at 6-over.
Sydney Conrad finished the day at 8-over with a birdie on No. 11 and is tied with Vannoy for 58th place overall. Becca Horner shot an 82 on Saturday and is tied for 63rd.
Troy will wrap up play at the FSU Match-Up on Sunday.
