Troy Cheerleading to Host Holiday Clinic

TROY, Alabama – The Troy cheerleading team will host its annual Holiday Cheer Clinic on Saturday, Jan. 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Sartain Hall. All participants will have the opportunity to perform a dance at halftime of that day's men's basketball game in Trojan Arena.

The clinic, which is open to children age 3-18, costs just $30 and a waiver form is required for each participant. Troy cheerleaders will teach cheers, stunts, jumps, tumbling and the dance that will be performed at the basketball game.

Each participant will receive a t-shirt and those age seven and under will receive a set of pom poms. Discounted tickets to the basketball doubleheader against Little Rock will be made available for parents; the doubleheader begins with the women's game at 2 p.m. followed by the men at 4:30 p.m.
