Â
TROY, Alabama – Head coach Sonny Kirkpatrick and the Troy volleyball program have announced the signing of four student-athletes. Bethany Cullity, Savannah Moore, Sydney Pineda and Belle Waldrop have all signed and will join the Trojans' roster in 2016.
Â
"We are really excited about this new class of players," Kirkpatrick said. "They could very well be the most accomplished group that I've ever had come in at one time. They all play club volleyball, and fill needs that we will have going into next year, and most importantly, they all come from winning programs. Add to them Logan Page, who wasn't able to play this year after surgery, and we have added a lot of needed height and ability."
Â
Cullity, a 5-foot-10 outside hitter and defensive specialist, comes to Troy from Colorado Springs, Colo., and Cheyenne Mountain High School. She led Cheyenne Mountain to the CHSAA Class 4A State Championship this season, tallying 50 kills and 32 digs in their final four games at the state tournament.

Â
Pineda, a 6-foot-1 right side and middle hitter, comes to Troy from Alpharetta, Ga., and Alpharetta High School. She was a two-time member of the AVCA National Phenom List in 2013 and 2014. Pineda led Alpharetta to a 33-13 record last season, the best in school history, and an appearance in the GHSA AAAAAA State Tournament.
Â
