• With his 51-yard carry in the third quarter, Brandon Burks now has a rush of 50+ yards in three of Troy's six games (57 vs. N.C. State, 74 vs. Mississippi State and 51 vs. Idaho).

• Teddy Ruben had a 23-yard punt return in the third quarter, his third of 20+ yards this season.

• Ruben caught a 43-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter as well as a crucial fourth down pass on the final drive. He finished with 109 yards on eight catches, his first career 100-yard game.

• Burks' fumble in the third quarter, which was recovered by Idaho cornerback Armond Hawkins, was Troy's first failed red zone conversion of the season. The second missed attempt for Troy was Jed Solomon's miss at the end of the game.

• Dontreal Pruitt started the game in place of injured Brandon Silvers. The Trojans had a made field goal, four punts and four turnovers when he was in the game. Dallas Tidwell relieved Pruitt late in the third quarter. His drives went for a touchdown, two made field goals and a missed field goal.
