Troy (10-11) has won five straight matches, all at home, including a pair of Sun Belt wins over ULM and UL Lafayette last weekend. The Trojans are 9-2 at home this season with the only losses coming in five sets to Arkansas State and Appalachian State who are a combined 15-0 in Sun Belt play.
Â
A win on Tuesday would give Troy six straight at home, tying the school's Division I era record for consecutive home wins. The Trojans have won six-in-a-row at home on seven other occasions. Troy is also one win away from tying the program's Division I era record of 10 home wins in a season, something they did in 1995.
Â
The Trojans are holding opponents to a. 164 attack percentage this season, the second best mark in the Sun Belt. During their current five-match winning streak, the Trojans have yet to allow a team to hit over .117.
Â
Ali Dowdall leads the Troy defense with 4.88 digs per set, ranking fourth in the Sun Belt. On the front line, Darby Griff has posted 85 blocks and leads the Trojans with 1.06 blocks per set.
Â
Offensively, Blair Winston is averaging a team-best 3.06 kills per set, including 19 against UL Lafayette on Saturday.
Â
Florida A&M (4-14) has won four of its last five matches, all in MEAC play, after starting the season 0-13 in non-conference play. Troy is 11-10 in its Division I history against Florida A&M. The two sides last met in 2012 when Troy won at home and on the road.
