Football Gameday Changes Announced

TROY, Ala. – The Troy University Athletics Department announced Wednesday some changes that will help enhance the fan experience at Trojan football games this fall.

2014 Troy Football Gameday Information
Â
Alcoholic Beverages
• Alcohol is sold within the venue. Only those who are of age and have proper identification are permitted to purchase alcohol. No outside alcohol is permitted.
• Beer will be available to purchase at five locations throughout Veterans Memorial Stadium (2 West Concourse, 2 North Plaza, 1 East Concourse).
• Upon providing proper identification at the point of sale, a band will be placed on the customers wrist, identifying that individual is of legal drinking age.
• All beer will be poured into a clear plastic cup provided by Sodexo Food Services.
• If a customer is consuming a beer in a cup not provided by Sodexo, or is found not be wearing a wrist band, they will be instructed to pour out the contents of the cup.
• Customers are permitted to purchase no more than two beers at a time.
• Beer sales will be halted at the end of the 3rd quarter.
• Sodexo, law enforcement personnel, and game management officials reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to anyone.

Tickets
• Tickets will be sold at Gate 1 and Gate 2. Tickets will go on sale beginning at 3 p.m. for the Duke game and two hours prior to all other games.

Pass Outs
• Fans will NOT be permitted to leave Veterans Memorial Stadium and return without purchasing another ticket.

Will Call
• Gameday will call has been moved to the Riddle-Pace Field (baseball) ticket booth and will be open at 3 p.m. for the Duke game and two hours prior to all other games.

Express Lane
• Fans entering Veterans Memorial Stadium WITHOUT a bag have the option to use the Express Lane at Gate 1 to expedite their entrance into the stadium.

Umbrellas
• Umbrellas will not be permitted into Veterans Memorial Stadium.
