Texas State (8-7, 3-0) enters the weekend as one of four unbeaten teams in Sun Belt play. The Bobcats defeated UT Arlington at home last Tuesday before beating Arkansas State and ULM on the road last weekend.  The Bobcats are led offensively by Shelby Vas Matt (3.40 k/s) and defensively by Sierra Smith (4.56 d/s).
Â
Troy is 0-3 all-time against Texas State, including losses in both of last season's matches. Both matches last season went to four sets, as did the first meeting between the two sides in 1997.
