Football Opens Two-a-Days with Scrimmage Heavy Practice

TROY, Ala. -- The Troy football team continued fall camp with a two-hour practice Tuesday morning on the fields behind Veterans Memorial Stadium. In the first of two practices scheduled for the day, the Trojans spent the final 40 minutes with a mini-scrimmage.Â
The Trojans return Tuesday night for the second practice of the day with the majority of the time budgeted for special teams. Troy's first major scrimmage of fall camp is set for Saturday at 10 a.m. in Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Troy opens the 2014 season at in-state rival UAB on August 30 at Legion Field. Kickoff between the Trojans and Blazers is set for 11 a.m. and the game will be televised live on Fox College Sports.

Season tickets for Troy's six home games are available and can be purchased by calling the Troy ticket office at 1-877-878-WINS, by logging on to TroyTrojans.com or by visiting the Tine Davis Fieldhouse. Single-game tickets are also available.
