Second Annual Troy Football 101 Set for June 21

TROY, Ala. – Following a highly successful inaugural event, Troy Football 101 returns for its second installment on June 21. Hosted the Troy Athletics Department and the Troy Athletics Women's League, Football 101 is open to females ages 12 and up.

The unique experience will give participants an opportunity to meet Troy football head coach Larry Blakeney, the football assistant coaches and Athletic Director John Hartwell. Troy Football 101 will also feature a tour of the football facilities, a skills challenge and an X's and O's strategy session with the coordinators and position coaches.

Attendees will get to participate in player game day experiences including running through the helmet onto the field in Veterans Memorial Stadium, take part in a Trojan shopping experience and close out the day with a happy hour (with a guest) on the Stadium Club level of Veterans Memorial Stadium.

A Troy gift pack, group picture with the football staff and a Troy Football 101 T-shirt will also be provided to all in attendance.

Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Tine Davis Fieldhouse and cost of the event is $25 per person.
