Troy’s Annual T-Day Spring Game Set for Saturday Afternoon

TROY, Ala. – Troy will wrap up football spring practice with its annual T-Day Spring Game on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. in Veterans Memorial Stadium; admission to the game is free.
Instead of splitting the roster into two teams, Troy will keep its offensive and defensive units together for T-Day to give fans a better look at what they can expect in the fall. Scoring will be based on which quarterback is on the field at the time as certain quarterbacks will score points for the Cardinal team while the others will score points for the White team.
Fans in attendance on Saturday will have an opportunity to pick up the 2014 season ticket brochure as Troy plays host to six games in Veterans Memorial Stadium this fall. Among the teams scheduled to play in Troy are Duke, defending Sun Belt champion Louisiana-Lafayette and league newcomer Appalachian State.
Saturday is a busy day on Troy's campus as the Trojan softball team hosts league foe Georgia State in a doubleheader beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Troy Softball Complex and eight new members will be enshrined into the Troy University Sports Hall of Fame at 7 p.m. in Trojan Arena.
Additionally, the University is hosting Spring Trojan Day beginning with a browse session in Trojan Arena at 9 a.m. The event will offer prospective students, along with their parents, the opportunity to interact with representatives from the University's five colleges. The event will also introduce potential students to various campus organizations, show them the admissions process and will include a tour of the campus.
Lunch will also be provided to registered Trojan Day participants at Veterans Memorial Stadium at 1 p.m. during the T-Day game. Beginning at 2 p.m., participants of Spring Trojan Day will have the opportunity to tour the university's sorority and fraternity houses, and will also be able to attend open houses at campus ministries and Honors Cottage.
