Troy Football to Salute Military at Saturday’s Game

TROY, Alabama – Troy's annual salute to the military will take place prior to and during Saturday's game against Georgia State in Veterans Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. and tickets are still available through the Troy Ticket Office.
Active and retired military are able to purchase discounted tickets to the game by visiting TroyTrojans.com/Tickets and using the promo code MIL.
Prior to the game, over 150 civilians will take part in an enlistment ceremony, while a solider from the Wounded Warrior Project will take part in the pregame coin toss. A flyover following the National Anthem will cap the pregame festivities.
During the game, fans will be treated to special military themed videos in addition to a special recognition for Bennie Adkins, a Troy University alumnus who received the Medal of Honor from President Obama in September.
At halftime, the Sound of the South will play its special military themed show, while all active and retired military will be invited on the field to be recognized.
Fans are encouraged to welcome the team to the stadium at 11:45 a.m. with Trojan Walk at the corner of University Avenue and George Wallace Drive.
