Troy Football Continues Work Towards First Scrimmage

TROY, Ala. – The Troy football team spent two hours on the turf of Veterans Memorial Stadium Tuesday morning in the first of two practices scheduled for the day; Tuesday marked the first two-a-day practice session of camp.

The team continued to workout in small groups, but ended the practice with a 30-minute live scrimmage. Troy is just four days away from its first full scrimmage of the fall on Saturday morning. The Trojans will hit the field at 10 a.m. before participating in the annual Troy Football Media Day after practice.

The Trojans open the season on Saturday, August 31, when in-state-rival UAB comes to town. The game will be broadcasted live by ESPN3 and kicks off at 6 p.m.
