ORLANDO, Fla. – In a match that included a one-hour rain delay, the Troy men's tennis team (7-10) was defeated by UCF (10-7), 4-0, on Saturday at the UCF Tennis Complex.

The two doubles matches that were completed finished at 8-5 in the favor of UCF. The second doubles pairing of Anas Rouchdi and Andre Stabile were defeated by Juan Bolona and Matthew Gladstone, while Tommy Cundy and Patrick Eichler were defeated by Mario Samson and Francesc Aulina at third doubles. Mansingh Athare and Sami Ghorbel were tied with Jorge Blasco and Amar Hromic at first singles, 5-5.

Athare forced a deciding third set at second doubles, but the match was not completed. Daniel Bustamante was leading in the second set against Aulina before the match was called.

Ghorbel put up a strong fight against Hromic, eventually falling at third singles 6-1, 6-4.
