Trojans Ready for Basketball Travelers Classic

LOGAN, Utah – Three tough games await the Troy men's basketball team (4-4) at the 2013 Basketball Travelers Classic, hosted by Utah Valley. The Trojans will face UC Santa Barbara (5-3) on Thursday night at 6:30, Western Illinois (4-5) on Friday night at 6:30 and host Utah State (6-2) at 9:05 p.m. on Saturday.

Live stats and audio for all games will be available on the men's basketball schedule page on TroyTrojans.com. Video will be available for the final game, on Saturday evening.

The Trojans are led by senior guard Antoine Myers who is averaging 13.4 points per game. Junior Kevin Thomas is also averaging double-figures, at 12.3 points per game, and is grabbing a team-high 8.8 rebounds per contest.

As a team, Troy is scoring 69.5 points per game. The Trojans have kept it clean defensively, averaging the seventh fewest fouls per game in the NCAA (15.4).

Troy has never faced UC Santa Barbara. The Trojans are 0-6 all-time against Western Illinois and 0-1 against Utah State. Utah has not been kind to the Trojans, as Troy is 1-7 all-time in the Beehive State.
