Trojans Look for Revenge at ULM

MONROE, La. – The Troy women's basketball team will look to snap an eight-game losing streak and avenge a loss from earlier this month as the Trojans travel to take on ULM on Saturday.

Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. at Fant-Ewing Coliseum in Monroe, La. Live stats and live video will be available through ULMWarhawks.com. Fans in Troy can hear the radio broadcast on WTBF 94.7 FM.

Troy (3-15, 0-9) comes in after an 87-74 loss at home to Arkansas State on Thursday night. Although the loss extended Troy's losing streak to eight games, the Trojans did a few things well against the Red Wolves.

The Trojans committed a season-low 11 turnovers while forcing 23 Arkansas State miscues, but ASU shot over 50.0 percent from the field as Troy barely cracked the 32.0 percent mark in the loss.

Troy also grabbed 24 offensive rebounds against the Red Wolves as the Trojans continue to be the top rebounding team in the Sun Belt at 42.7 total rebounds per game.

Troy is also the top scoring team in the Sun Belt at 74.6 points per game as three Trojans average double-figure scoring, including Joanna Harden who leads the way at 12.6 points per game. Harden is averaging 21.8 points per game over Troy's last four games, including 24 against ULM in the first meeting between the two teams.

ULM (3-15, 1-8) won that game just over two weeks ago, 75-69, at Trojan Arena. Troy led by one with 4:00 to go, but ULM used a 7-0 run over three minutes to pull ahead for good.

That win is the only for ULM in their last 10 games, including their most recent game, a loss at Arkansas State on Sunday. ULM did not play a mid-week game this week.
