Troy University Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Set for April 20

TROY, Ala. – Troy University will induct its second class into the Troy University Sports Hall of Fame on April 20, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. The ceremony, which will take place in Trojan Arena, has been moved to an earlier date this year to coincide with the T-Club Weekend.
Fans are encouraged to make their reservations for the first-class event early as the inaugural induction ceremony last August sold out of its over 600 seats. The induction class for the 2013 Troy University Sports Hall of Fame Ceremony will be announced in the coming months.
The 2013 class will join Ralph Adams, Billy Atkins, Larry Blakeney, Sim Byrd, Don Maestri, Vergil Parks McKinley, Denise Monroe, Charles Oliver, Chase Riddle, Mike Turk and DeMarcus Ware in the Troy University Sports Hall of Fame.
The ceremony will cap an exciting day on Troy's campus as the Trojan football team will play its annual T-Day Game that morning, while the Troy baseball and softball teams will also be in action at home during the afternoon.
