Trojans in the NFL - Week Three

Former Trojans Leodis McKelvin, Lawrence Tynes and DeMarcus Ware turned in big performances for their teams last week.

Mario Addison, Indianapolis Colts – Saw action on special teams and at outside linebacker in the Colts' loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Jerrel Jernigan, New York Giants – Made first appearance of the 2012 season against the Carolina Panthers last Thursday. Recorded a tackle on special teams.
Sherrod Martin, Carolina Panthers – Saw action in Carolina's secondary and on special teams in the Panthers' loss to the New York Giants.
Jonathan Massaquoi, Atlanta Falcons – Was inactive for Atlanta's 27-3 win on the road at San Diego.
Leodis McKelvin, Buffalo Bills – Recorded first interception of the season in the Bills' road win at Cleveland. Also, averaged 26.5 yards per punt return and picked up a season-long 34-yard kickoff return against the Browns.
Steve McLendon, Pittsburgh Steelers – Saw action in Pittsburgh's 34-31 loss to the Oakland Raiders.
Lawrence Tynes, New York Giants – Made all five field goal attempts (47, 49, 30, 36, 27) and two extra points in the Giants' win over the Carolina Panthers on last Thursday.
Osi Umemyiora, New York Giants – Picked up first sack of the year by taking down Carolina quarterback Cam Newton in the Giants' 16-10 win over the Panthers.
DeMarcus Ware, Dallas Cowboys – Posted first multi-sack game of the season by taking down Tampa Bay quarterback Josh Freeman twice in the Cowboys' 16-10 win. Also made five tackles and forced two fumbles.
