Trojans Return Home Tuesday

TROY, Ala. – After a productive weekend at the ASU Invitational in Montgomery, Ala., the Troy volleyball team returns home on Tuesday as Florida A&M visits Sartain Hall for a 6 p.m. first serve.
The Trojans (8-6) enter the match at 7-3 in their last 10 matches, including a 2-1 showing last weekend at the ASU Invitational. Troy defeated Alabama State and Jackson State, an NCAA Tournament team a year ago, but fell to Maryland-Eastern Shore, another NCAA Tournament team from a season ago.
Senior Breanna Cullity led the Trojans' defensive front over the weekend, posting 24 total blocks in 11 sets, including a school single-game record 12 blocks against UMES on Saturday,
Blair Winston leads the Trojans, averaging 2.77 kills/set entering Tuesday's match while Devin Von Pingel and Cullity lead the Trojans with .287 and .279 attack percentages, respectively.
Alexandra Alexander has upped her assists/set average to 8.25 thanks a 9.30 mark in Troy's last 10 matches.
Defensively, the Trojans sit second in the Sun Belt in opponent attack percentage (.153) and first in digs/set (16.40). Courtney Cohen leads the Trojans and sits third in the league with a 5.00 digs/set average.
Florida A&M (2-7) enters having won two straight matches after defeating Davidson and Presbyterian last weekend. The Rattlers are led by Yeisha Arcia who averages 3.13 kills/set. The Rattlers' opponents are hitting .263 on the season.
