Trojans in the NFL – Week One

TROY, Ala. - Every Tuesday, TroyTrojans.com will take a look at how former Trojans are performing in the National Football League.

Mario Addison, Indianapolis Colts – Saw action at outside linebacker in the Colts' 41-21 loss at Chicago.

Jerrel Jernigan, New York Giants – Was inactive in the Giants' loss to the Dallas Cowboys, last Wednesday night.

Sherrod Martin, Carolina Panthers – Picked up a tackle on special teams in the Panthers' season-opening loss to Tampa Bay on the road.

Jonathan Massaquoi, Atlanta Falcons – Was inactive for Atlanta's 40-24 win at Kansas City.

Leodis McKelvin, Buffalo Bills – Made three kickoff returns for 71 yards and added a punt return for 27 yards in Buffalo's loss against the New York Jets. Also, recorded three tackles on defense.

Steve McLendon, Pittsburgh Steelers – Saw time at nose tackle in Pittsburgh's 31-19 loss at home to the Denver Broncos on Sunday night.

Cameron Sheffield, Kansas City Chiefs – Saw playing time at linebacker and on special teams in Kansa City's 40-24 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Lawrence Tynes, New York Giants – Scored the first points of the 2012 NFL regular season by hitting a 22-yard field goal in the first quarter against Dallas. He did miss a 22-yard field goal, but made both PATs in the Giant's loss to Dallas.

Osi Umemyiora, New York Giants – Recorded one tackle against the Dallas Cowboys in the Giants' loss to start the 2012 season last Wednesday.

DeMarcus Ware, Dallas Cowboys – Picked up 100^th career sack against the reigning Super Bowl Champion New York Giants last Wednesday. Ware recorded five tackles, along with two sacks for a loss of 21 yards, in the Cowboys' 24-17 road win to start the 2012 season.
