Trojans Finish with Top Performances at the Tiger Track Classics

FULL RESULTS
AUBURN, Ala. – The Troy track & field team set personal bests and improved national rankings at the Tiger Track Classic.
Nicolo' Bolla placed second in the men's hammer throw breaking his own school record with a distance of 61.07 meters, while also improving his first place time in the Sun Belt Conference. This moves him to 23rd on the NCAA Division I Outdoor Qualifier List.
“We had numerous top performances in an elite field of athletes,” head coach Jill Lancaster said. “This was another productive meet as we get closer to the end of the season.”
The men's 4x100 team placed first collegiately with a time of 40.66. The team was composed of Benjamin Martin, Thaddeus Curtis, Phillip Pritchett and Neko Freeman.
Veronica Bryant placed ninth in the women's high jump moving her in a tie for sixth in the Sun Belt Conference with a distance of 1.65 meters. Bryant was just invited to the invitational high jump. She is the previous Sun Belt high jump champion.
Kemper Morton set a personal best in the men's 800-meters placing fifth with a time of 1:53.66, moving him to second in the Sun Belt Conference.
Haley Watts set a personal best in the pole vault placing 13th with a distance of 3.10 meters moving her to a tie for third all-time at Troy. This moves her to ninth in the Sun Belt Conference.
Larry Henry placed third in the men's high jump with a distance of 2.07 meters. Martins Pildavs placed third in the men's javelin with a distance of 69.11 meters.
Thaddeus Curtis moves to seventh all-time at Troy in the 400-meter hurdles placing ninth with a time 53.86. This moves him to sixth in the Sun Belt Conference and 68th in the 2012 Division I East Qualifier List. Jasmine Patton placed tenth in the women's 100-meter hurdles with a time 14.19.
Ja-Courtney Alexander placed eighth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.03, and she also placed 15th in the 200-meters with a time of 24.37.
The men's 4x400 team 'A' set a season best placing 13th with a time of 3:17.59 to move them to fifth in the Sun Belt Conference. The women's 4x400 team also set a season best placing 10th with a time of 3:49.28 moving them to fifth in the Sun Belt Conference.
The Trojans will be preparing to head back to Mobile, Ala. next week to compete in the South Alabama Invitational April 14 and 15. Meet information will be available on troytrojans.com.
