2/14/2012 1:48:00 PM | Baseball
NEW ORLEANS – Three Troy baseball games will be televised by the Sun Belt Network (SBN) this season, including a pair of home games at Riddle-Pace Field. Troy's three appearances are the most of any school in the Sun Belt and means that the Trojans will appear on nearly 50 percent (3-of-7) of the SBN's broadcasts.
Troy's first SBN appearance will come on March 31 when the Trojans play host to Arkansas State at Riddle-Pace Field. First pitch for the game has been moved back one hour to 7 p.m. to accommodate the television schedule.
The Trojans will wrap up the SBN regular season lineup with back-to-back broadcasts beginning with their road game at Louisiana-Lafayette on May 5. The regular season finale between Troy and South Alabama on May 19 will mark the Trojans third appearance on the network. First pitch between the Trojans and Jaguars has been pushed back to 6 p.m.
The Sun Belt Network will also television the championship game of the Sun Belt Tournament from Bowling Green, Ky., at 1 p.m. on May 27.
All games on the Sun Belt Network will be aired by CSS and Cox Sports Television. Please check your local listings for additional channel information.
