Trojans in the NFL - Week 16

TROY, Ala. - Every week, TroyTrojans.com will take a look at how former Trojans are performing in the National Football League.
Mario Addison, Carolina Panthers – Finished with a career-high four tackles in the Panthers' 17-6 win against the Oakland Raiders. Addison has seen his playing time increase over the past three weeks has he has registered five tackles, a sack and forced a fumble in the last two games.
James Brown, Chicago Bears – Started second straight game at left guard as the Bears' defeated the Arizona Cardinals, 28-13. Brown has played in four games since being promoted from the practice squad during Week 13.
DuJuan Harris, Green Bay Packers – Started at running back and scored second rushing touchdown in three games as the Packers defeated the Tennessee Titans, 55-7, at Lambeau Field. Harris finished with eight carries for 29 yards. If Green Bay wins this Sunday at Minnesota, the Packers will be the second seed and receive a first round by in the playoffs.

Jerrel Jernigan, New York Giants – Caught one pass for seven yards in the Giants' road loss at Baltimore. Jernigan has three receptions for 22 yards in 2012.
Elbert Mack, New Orleans Saints – Saw action in the Saints' 34-31 overtime win at Dallas, but did not record and stats. Mack has recorded 12 tackles; five pass deflections and an interception that was returned for a 73-yard touchdown against the New York Giants.
Sherrod Martin, Carolina Panthers – Placed on injured reserve on December 4 after suffering a knee injury. In his four seasons, Martin has tallied 199 career tackles and seven interceptions.
Jonathan Massaquoi, Atlanta Falcons – Saw significant playing time at defensive end in the Falcons' 31-18 win at Detroit on Saturday. In first season, Massaquoi and the Falcons clinched home-field advantage for the playoffs with their 13-point win at Detroit and earned a first-round bye. Massaquoi has made two tackles and played in 14 games this season.
Leodis McKelvin, Buffalo Bills – Will miss the rest of season after being placed on injured reserve on December 20 with a groin injury. The former first round pick has recorded 21 tackles and two interceptions this season. McKelvin has returned two punt returns for a touchdown in 2012 and he also holds the Bills' franchise record in punt return yardage.
Steve McLendon, Pittsburgh Steelers – Recorded a tackle and a 0.5 sack in the Steelers' 13-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bears. This season, McLendon has six tackles and 1.5 sacks at nose tackle.
Lawrence Tynes, New York Giants – Made two extra points in the Giants' road loss at Baltimore. Tynes leads the NFL with 33 made field goals and is a perfect 40-of-40 in point after attempts. For his career, he has 190 field goals.
Osi Umemyiora, New York Giants – Made five tackles in New York's 33-14 loss to Baltimore. This season, Umenyiora has 40 tackles, six sacks and two forced fumbles. He has recorded 373 tackles, 75 sacks and forced 32 fumbles.
DeMarcus Ware, Dallas Cowboys – Slowed by an elbow injury, Ware made just one tackle and forced a fumble in the Cowboys' 34-31 overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints. In 2012, Ware has 55 tackles, 11.5 sacks and five forced fumbles. His 11.5 sacks are the seventh-most in the NFL this season. He has 111 career sacks in his eight seasons, which is fourth among active players. Ware has also tallied 416 career tackles and forced 32 fumbles. With a win this weekend against the Washington Redskins, Ware and the Cowboys have opportunity to get back to the playoffs for the first time since 2010.
