Robinson, Storm Chasers to take on Clippers in Triple-A National Championship

Former All-American goes 2-for-3 in Game 3 win in PCL Championship
Former Trojan Clint Robinson and the Omaha Storm Chasers will play the Columbus Clippers in the Triple-A National Championship, Tuesday, at 9:05 p.m. CST in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The game will be televised live on Versus.
The Omaha Storm Chasers finished off the Sacramento River Cats by winning Game Three of the Pacific Coast League Championship, 11-6, in Sacramento. It was the Storm Chasers first title since joining the PCL in 1998.
Clint Robinson notched another multi-hit game in the playoffs going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two walks, and a run scored. Robinson is hitting .385 during the 2011 playoffs.
The Storm Chasers will face the Class AAA affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, the Columbus Clippers, in the one-game championship.
Last Friday night, The Clippers swept the Class AAA affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, the Lehigh Valley IronPig, and won the Governor's Cup for the International League Championship.
Columbus won the 2010 Triple-A National Championship Game last season, defeating the Tacoma Rainers, 12-6.
