Robinson, Storm Chasers win Game 1 of PCL Series

Win puts Storm Chasers two wins away from the PCL crown
Former Trojan Clint Robinson and the Omaha Storm Chasers took Game One of the Pacific Coast League Championship Series by knocking off the Sacramento River Cats, 3-2, last night.
With the win, Robinson and the Storm Chasers are just two wins away from winning the PCL Championship.
In Game One, it took a Lorenzo Cain single to right field in the bottom of the 7th to give the Storm Chasers a 3-2 lead. Robinson hit cleanup in the Storm Chasers lineup and was 0-for-2 with two walks.
Robinson, a 15th round draft pick in 2007 by the Kansas City Royals, hit .326 during the regular season with and finished with the team lead with 23 home runs and 100 RBI. Robinson was tied for third in the PCL with 164 hits and was 8th in the PCL with 36 doubles.
Robinson helped the Iowa Storm Chasers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, to 79 wins in 2011 and the American Conference Championship.
