Trucking with the Trojans
8/31/2011 4:42:00 PM | Football
When the Troy football takes to the road on Friday morning for the Trojans' season-opener at Clemson, all of the equipment and supplies they will need for the game will already be in South Carolina.
Thanks to a partnership with Covan World-Wide Moving, the gear the Trojans use for road games travels in style in a customized tractor-trailer.
Troy fans are accustomed to seeing the trailer at home games, but the entire tractor-trailer got a major face-lift for the 2011 season.
“We have a great relationship with Covan and Jeff Coleman and they have really taken care of us,” Troy equipment manager James Gardner said. “We have a brand new trailer this year that is five feet longer and the entire rig has really been dressed up to represent Troy football.”
