Lewis Finishes Season as Second-Leading Scorer

TROY, Ala. (TroyTrojans.com) - Former Troy University standout Amy Lewis finished off another stellar season for the Townsville Fire this season, finishing second on the team in scoring.
Lewis played in all 22 games for the Fire, and finished the season averaging 13.1 points per game; trailing just Rachael Flanagan (14.3 ppg) for team honors. She finished the year shooting 41.3 (117-for-283) percent from the floor; the third-highest percentage on the team. Lewis also connected on the second-most shots on the second-most attempts; trailing just Flanagan on the season.
The former Trojan led the team in three-point field goals made and attempted - something not to uncommon for one of the most prolific shooters in TROY history. She also finished second in three-point field goal percentage on the season. Lewis finished the year shooting 32.3 (21-for-65) percent from beyond the arc.
She also finished the year shooting a team-high (over 20 free throws attempted) 75.0 (33-for-44) percent from the free throw line. Lewis grabbed 3.1 rebounds and dished out 2.1 assists to wrap up the 2010-11 season for the Townsville Fire.
