Troy Athletics and Alumni Association Launch '110% Club' Campaign

The Troy University Athletics Department in partnership with the Troy University Alumni Association is enlisting the help of current members to build both organizations' membership.
The Athletics Department and the Alumni Association have jointly launched a membership campaign under the theme of "110% Club," which encourages alumni and friends to join the Trojan Warriors or the Alumni Association for $110 and become members of both the alumni organization and TROY Athletics' Trojan Warrior program.
For each new member recruited to this program through June 10, the current member responsible and the new member will both have their names put into a drawing for a football weekend package when the Trojans travel to play Clemson during the 2011 season. The package includes two tickets to the football game, a two-night stay in a hotel and a tailgating package that includes TROY car flags, magnets and other Trojan gear. The drawing will be held June 13.
"If each current member of either the Trojan Warriors or the Alumni Association was to recruit just one new member to the "110% Club", we would double our membership for both programs," Alicia Bookout, Assistant AD for External Relations, said. "Both programs enable alumni to maintain a connection to Troy University and other TROY alumni. A stronger Alumni Association also helps to make a stronger University through the provision of scholarships to deserving students, student recruitment and financial support. The Trojan Warriors program enables individuals to play a role in the growth and success of TROY Athletics."
The "110% Club" campaign will continue through the end of 2011. For each new member recruited by a current member from June through December, the current member's name will be entered into a drawing for multiple prize options.
The cost to join the 110% Club is $110. Payment plans are available and can also be done through payroll deduction for TROY employees.
