Troy Leads Sun Belt with 17 on Phil Steele Preseason Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The 2011 Phil Steele College Football Preview will hit newsstands on June 7, but the publication has released it's preseason All-Sun Belt and All-America teams.
The Troy Trojans, who will be in search of their sixth consecutive Sun Belt title in 2011, led all league teams with 17 players on the four All-Conference teams. The Trojans were also one of three league teams to have a player on one of the four All-America squads.
The Trojans had a league-high six players named to the All-Sun Belt first team. Sophomore quarterback Corey Robinson was joined by junior tackle James Brown and junior guard Kyle Wilborn on offense.
Junior defensive end Jonathan Massaquoi, who was also named to the fourth team All-America squad, was joined by senior tackle Emmanuel Dudley and senior linebacker Xavier Lamb on defense.
Troy had two players – junior cornerback Jimmie Anderson and senior punter Will Goggans – on the second team squad. Five Trojans were named to the third team squad and four more were named fourth team.
The Trojans' 17 overall selections was followed by Arkansas State and FIU with 16 players each. North Texas and ULM had 13 players each selected and Middle Tennessee had 12. Western Kentucky and FAU had nine players each and UL Lafayette had seven.
In addition to Massaquoi, FIU receiver T.Y. Hilton was named to the third team All-America squad while ULL tight end Ladarius Green was named to the fourth team.
