Baseball Ready for Fall World Series, Alumni Weekend

Baseball Ready for Fall World Series
Head coach Bobby Pierce and the Troy baseball will close out fall practice with a three-game “World Series” beginning with a doubleheader Friday afternoon at Riddle-Pace Field. The if-necessary game for the best-of-three series is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday morning.
The Trojans have scrimmaged for the majority of the last three weeks as fall practice has drawn to an end.
The Fall World Series will pit the Cardinal and Black squads against one another for the final time of fall practice.
Senior C/DH Blake Martz will serve as the head coach for the Cardinal squad, while senior pitcher Tyler Ray will serve as the head coach for the Black squad.
Schedule for Fall World Series (Probable Starting Pitchers)
Game 1, November 4, 3:00 p.m. : (Cardinal – Ryan Brady, Black – Chris Fisher)
Game 2, November 4, TBA: (Cardinal – A.J. Howard, Black –Brent Maloy)
Game 3, if-necessary, November 5, 10:00 a.m.: (Cardinal – William Teal, Black – William Shell)
The Trojans will also host the 2011 Alumni Weekend, November 11-12, at Riddle-Pace Field. The two-day event will start off with the Alumni Game at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, November 11. The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12. The schedule of events is listed below:
