The Troy University volleyball program hosts a tournament at Sartain Hall beginning September 4
2010 Troy Volleyball Schedule
TROY, Ala. - Troy University volleyball coach Sonny Kirkpatrick released the 2010 Troy University Spiketacular schedule for the weekend of September 4 on Tuesday morning. With a busy weekend planned for Troy athletics that weekend, the Trojans volleyball program adds six matches in their first home tournament under Kirkpatrick.
With the season-opening football game on Saturday, the first home cross country meet and a home soccer tournament; the Trojans volleyball team will add to the excitement as they welcome three teams from around the country into southeast Alabama.
The tournament gets started at 10 am on Saturday, September 4 with the Trojans hitting the court first against Western Illinois. The day concludes at 12:30 pm as Evansville and McNeese State battle at Sartain Hall.
Following Saturday, four matches will be played to conclude the tournament on Sunday. Once again, the Trojans hit the court first as they take on McNeese State at 9 am; followed by Evansville and Western Illinois at 11:30. The tournament concludes as Troy and Evansville hit the court at 4 pm on Sunday.
