Promotions On Tap for Weekend Full of Festivities

The Troy University Promotions is in full swing this weekend with home soccer and Fan Day
PROMOTIONS SCHEDULE
The Troy University Promotions Office is in full swing this weekend as the festivites get underway on the Troy University campus involving athletics.
"It's a new year in Troy athletics," said #Matthew Carlo#, Director of Promotions and Event Managment. "I believe it's going to be a great year. We have a lot of promotions lined up for the fall so far."
Carlo and his staff have begun preparations for the first home event of the season, as the Troy University soccer team hits the pitch against Wofford College on Friday afternoon. The match starts at 3 pm, and admission is free to all home soccer matches.
"We are going to kick off the year Friday afternoon at 3 pm at the Trojan Soccer Complex," he said. "Our soccer team plays host to Wofford. Make sure you come out and support the Trojans and enjoy a couple 50 cent hotdogs."
Not only is soccer taking place on the home campus, but the annual Fan Day will be held inside Sartain Hall, and there are promotions scheduled for that day to get the Trojan Nation in attendance.
"Also happening this weekend is the BB&T Fan Appreciation Day," Carlo said. "All of our fall sports teams will be present for autographs and pictures. We will provide posters and schedule cards for our fans to have autographed, and coach #Larry Blakeney# will also be in attendance."
Fan Day starts at 2 pm in Trojan Arena. Make sure to enjoy your weekend with Troy athletics.
