TROY, Ala. - The Troy University volleyball program and head coach Sonny Kirkpatrick have announced their 2010 schedule, which includes six games against 2009 NCAA Tournament teams and a home tournament for the first time since 2005.

The Trojans will open the 2010 campaign on the road on August 27 and 28 at the Auburn Tournament. While in Auburn, Ala. The Trojans will take on the Tigers, Georgia Southern and UT-Martin.

The Trojans will welcome Western Illinois, McNeese State and Evansville to Sartain Hall for the weekend for the first tournament action in Troy in Kirkpatrick's five years at the helm of the Trojans.
“We're very excited to host a tournament,” Kirkpatrick said. “We've got four very evenly matched teams and it should lend itself to some very good volleyball.”
