The Trojans will look to rebound from their losses this weekend at home

TROY, Ala. - The Troy University Trojans volleyball team will head south to Mobile tomorrow to face the Lady Jags of South Alabama at 7 pm in Sun Belt Conference action.

“It's another day, and another chance to renew the rivalry with South,” head coach Sonny Kirkpatrick said. “Every time we play it seems it's an epic adventure one way or the other, and that's what makes rivalries so great.”

This will be the second meeting between the two teams this season, with South Alabama winning the first match 3-2 in Sartain Hall on October 15. Troy leads the overall series with the Lady Jags 17-14, but South holds the lead in Jaguar Gym 8-4.

The Trojans are led in conference play by senior Megan Henderson, junior Natasha Kolunija and freshman Courtney Cohen. Henderson has recorded 334 assists, averaging 8.15 assists/set and has a .353 attack percentage.

Kolunija has recorded 102 kills, averaging 2.49 kills/set, a .213 attack percentage, and 19 total blocks in conference play. Meanwhile, Cohen has been a force on the defensive side of the ball, recording 125 digs, averaging 4.31 digs/set and 14 assists.

After Tuesday's match, Troy will finish up the regular season with four matches on the road; including road trips to Middle Tennessee and WKU, as well as FIU and Florida Atlantic.
