You'd Better Be Ready When Camp Starts

Trojan Nation,
As I stated, I'm going to try to blog during camp.
The length depends on how I feel, and how late it is. It is already
10:12 P.M. right now, so I need to go to sleep soon.
Camp
started on Thursday, but actual practice started yesterday (Sunday). As
always the two lines get after each other as if the pads were on. It
doesn't matter. I remember in 2007, my first camp, the guys said you'd
better come out full tilt, because they're going to.
The first
day, everyone was chomping at the bit, per usual. There was lots of
pent up energy, and we got it out on Sunday. The offense did well, but
not perfect. The defense stepped up at times as well.
Tonight
(Monday) was much of the same. Not much else to describe as we weren't
in pads, and did the same exact practice schedule.
We have a
very good defense. They are an upperclassmen-laden group, and they know
how to play ball. Two of the unknown guys that you may wonder about are
the two D-Tackles. They are very good players, and it takes great focus
and technique to block them. They are a challenge, and they will make
us better. It's actually more fun blocking someone that challenges us
like that. Ask any of the other O-Linemen, and I suspect they'd agree.
If
you're hoping for some new promos anytime soon, I must sadly say that
it will probably be a little while before I can get around to doing a
few more. But, hopefully it won't be too far into the season. I hope
everyone likes them.
That's all I have for now. I have to sleep!
MG
